About Us

SPS are leaders in the provision of property and people services. We deliver high quality products and services to over 500 customers around the UK. We work with Councils, Local Authorities, FM companies, Landlords, Banks and Estate Agents and give them security, environmental services, doors, access control, and helpdesk services, 24/7.

We have 2 contact centers with 70 people working shifts over a 24 hour period.  We have lots of contracts lasting over 3 years and our growth plans continue despite challenging times in the rest of the UK.

Our Requirements

We are looking for a planner to work full-time hours, Monday – Friday with flexibility on start time

The Role

You will be responsible for

  • Checking that we have our minimum staffing numbers for each shift 7 days a week
  • Plan for emergency situations such as high call volume for weekends, bad weather or social campaigns the company runs on behalf of others
  • Managing holidays in line with the company’s requirements
  • Communicating with the staff over many platforms to ensure that we have the right numbers in place and liaise with external agencies for short term cover
  • Monitor productivity

Qualities expected

  • Friendly, outgoing chatty enthusiastic person
  • Very organised and likes to plan
  • Great communicator in different ways: professional as well as socially
  • Excel and database skills are essential
  • Show adaptability when needed as no 2 days are a same at SPS
  • Experience with working at all levels
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Build relationships with customers and your teams
