blood at scene

Crime and accident scenes can happen at any time and anywhere throughout the UK, whether it is a murder or trauma scene you will need to have an option to safely clear and clean the scene in a professional and timely manner.

At SPS we only used trained and certified operatives when tasked with making a crime scene safe after it has been contaminated by any biological hazards, or bodily fluids such as blood that has been left at the scene.

Clearing these fluids are essential, aside from restoring the aesthetic qualities of the area it can be also be a potential health risk. Hazardous bodily fluids left in the area can be a serious risk to human health and may carry viruses including hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV, all of which transfer via bodily fluids, so treating these contaminated areas is essential for health and safety.

Our experienced team is used to dealing with a variety of different situations when it comes to clearing up blood safely.

In the last few months we have assisted on a number of crime/accident scenes including clearing the walls of a communal area within a housing tenement in Irvine following an incident, our team were able to ensure all blood was removed and cleaned to specification.

We were also recently called to Largs to assist with the uplift of a large animal who had unfortunately been knocked over by a vehicle. After receiving a call from our client to attend the scene our team worked quickly to remove the dog safely and clean what was required in the area.

In a similar call, our team were called to Irvine once more to clean up a small blood spill caused by a road accident, which resulted in a road closure and traffic issues. Our operatives made sure that the delay was not overly long, completing this request in a timely manner in order to let traffic resume.

All crime/accident scenes will require urgent attention, which is why we work based on a same-day response throughout the UK. We work quickly to make sure your area is safe as soon as possible while ensuring all health and safety requirements are met without fuss.
