Earlier this summer, SPS were delighted to become a member of the Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC) and recently received some very important training.
As an organisation, we are determined to stay up to date on topical issues surrounding security and the prevention of crime and welcomed the ACT Awareness training delivered by the SBRC.
Launched in 2016 by The National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO), ACT, as it is described by the SBRC is “a counter terrorism awareness product to help people understand the threat from terrorism in the UK”.
After the training was delivered to staff at our Glasgow office, Shirley Duffus, our Managing Director said, “It was a pleasure to have David from SBRC visit us again, and deliver valuable coaching to our control room staff. The content, stories, videos and information slides were current and contained helpful information. We believe this type of exercise helps us to perform better and increases our awareness of the risks and threats that face us all today.”
While being innovative, adapting to industry trends and/or issues and exceeding the expectations of our clients is all very important to us, it is also crucial that we continue to develop and train our team and we thank the SBRC, who now have accreditation from NaCTSO to deliver this training to the business sector.
