In this blog we take a look back at how SPS managed to solve a problem for our client regarding rodent infestation, how we worked to solve the problem and went on to become their trusted provider for a number of environmental services.
Las year our client contacted us with an urgent problem, their current outsourced pest control supplier had unfortunately filed for bankruptcy without warning, leaving a backlog of jobs to be done that could have led to major rodent infestations.
They needed a company that they could rely upon and not let them down in getting the job done quickly, and this is where SPS stepped in.
Our client had received a brochure from SPS a week before the problem arose, and in that time we were able to work out a proposal, give a cost breakdown with service guarantees and go through our work processes.
This quick turnaround allowed the experienced SPS team to get to work quickly and they were able to clear the backlog of work needing completed, plus respond to new cases while securing many properties against rodents in the area.
To secure the area of rodent infestation, our team first of all cleared all food debris, rubbish and leftovers that could have attracted vermin. We then moved on to deal with existing infestations with tamper resistant traps that were baited with palatable bait.
Once this was done we got to work on preventing rodent access to the property by using traps setup discreetly on all runs and existing entry points. Our team then applied effective seals on all the access points to stop future access.
As with all of our environmental services, SPS ensured that transparency was evident at all times.
All relevant information was recorded throughout the process and was backed up with photographic evidence at every step, allowing the client to see what work has been carried out and where.
Within a matter of weeks of working with our client, SPS had managed to successfully clear over 100 properties from rodent infestation and that number continued to rise.
We still work with the client to this day, and now provide a number of our environmental services to them including pest control, clear and clean services and sharps removal.
